Widows Peak Retreat

I’m passing on this message I got from Lindsay Priester about the Widows Peak Retreat at the Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone:

I’m writing to let you know about Widows Peak, a weekend retreat specially designed for anyone who has lost a life partner and wants to take a meaningful step forward. The retreat will take place June 6-8 at the Art of Living Retreat Center, a wellness and meditation venue, in Boone, N.C.

The weekend will be led by authors, thought leaders and mentors, including Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman. I thought this might be of interest to some of your readers.

“The experiential weekend will be hands-on, intimate and, above all, inspiring,” said Thomas Bell, the Art of Living Retreat Center’s client relations director. “We wanted the event to go beyond traditional grief-talk, and elevate the mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of our guests.”

The Art of Living Retreat Center was created to help individuals achieve well-being and peace. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, in an area traditionally known for its healing energies and beauty, it serves as a refuge of self-renewal for its many visitors from around the world.

For more information about Widows Peak or to register, visit http://www.widowspeakretreat.org or call 1-800-219-7103.”

Thanks so much,

Lindsay

Thanks so much for devoting a blog to Widow’s Peak. I will be there as a presenter and just all around hang out friend to all. I guarantee that whoever is experiencing grief will have a life changing experience at this retreat weekend. Again, thanks Lindsay.
