Accomplished Widow

Are you an accomplished widow?  Sometimes we need to stop and acknowledge how far we have come.  It does not matter what it is, as long as you give yourself credit for what you have accomplished.

Get paper and pen to answer this question – What five things have I already accomplished as a widow that I am proud of?

How the next step is to list what you want in the next 10 years.  Every accomplished widow will have their own unique list.  The goal is to list at least 50 items of what you want, not just what you think you can get.  The list will include things you want this year, next year, three years, five years and up to ten years.

If you are clear on “Why” you want something, the “How” to getting it will be easier than you think.  Learn how to make it worth your while, and you will be an accomplished widow.

  • What would give you the most incredible life in the next 10 years?
  • What would give you the greatest satisfaction, pleasure and joy?
  • What habits do you want to change?
  • What skills do you need to learn?

You wouldn’t be able to accomplish your list if you can’t think it, if you can’t describe it and if you can’t put it down on paper.

So, to get started pick the three most important goals you want to accomplish in the next 12 months.  Why are these three important to you?  Write out your “Why” in three or four sentences.  When your “Why” gets clearer, the “How” to get there will be so much easier.

Have you written out 50 things you want to accomplish over the next ten years?  If not, why not??  You can’t have it if you can’t think of it or write it out.

Two things will wreck your accomplishment goals – impatience and greed.  You must have the patience necessary to let things work themselves out.  Don’t be greedy, you may already have more than 99% of the rest of the people in the world.

The main reason to be an accomplished widow, is what it makes of you to achieve your goals.  Let the challenges of your goals guide you to become a unique person, to stand tall and to move forward, always growing towards incredible strength.

  • What specific knowledge must you acquire?
  • What specific skills must your learn?
  • Who can help you get what you want?
  • What if any capital finances do you need?
  • When do you plan to accomplish each goal?

The real payoff to being an accomplished widow is the better you become at setting and realizing your goals.  Then bigger goals will be set as your confidence and abilities grow.  Life is about taking on problems, discovering solutions, taking the necessary steps, and writing out your progress.
