Connect By Facebook

If you aren’t already a member of “The Sisterhood of Widows – Private Group for Widows”, I invite you to take a moment to connect by Facebook.

It’s one group for ALL widows:

.  Young and not so young.

.  New widows still struggling or widowed for years with positive posts about their lives.

.  Widowed by cancer, accident, suicide etc.

.  Widowed with a perfect marriage, struggling marriage or bad marriage.

.  Never planning to date or marry again, thinking of dating, dating and/or remarried.

.  Widowed by legal marriage, common in-law, engaged or same sex (female) couples.

The point is that widows are a very diverse group and are as different as their marriages were.
If you are looking for a group that is a specific type of widow then this may not be the community for you.

I’ve received private messages that say the group is too sad and negative.  I’ve also gotten messages that the group is too positive and widows have moved on too much.  I say, not every post is for you, so take what is helpful to you and pass by posts that are not relevant to you.

This is a free online group created by me for widows to support and encourage each other. The rules are strictly enforced and are here to keep members safe and protected.

ALL members agree to follow the rules when they requested to join.  If you are not sure what you agreed to, the rules are at the top of our group page under “Featured”.

This is your group and I trust that members will follow the rules, support and encourage each other and privately report to me when things don’t seem right.

Widows helping widows – that’s what we are here for.  We are there to support each other, to encourage each other and to share our experiences in a caring online environment. In 2024 we surpassed 18,000 widows from around the world that connect by Facebook.
