To be at peace with ourselves and with others, we must learn to accept change. There is no other way because life is change from the time of our birth till the day we die.
Simply asking yourself, "Do I need to change?" is a step in the right direction. If you answer "yes", than you must act or be frustrated.
Anticipate and respond to doubts that emerge every time you stretch out of your comfort zone. I worried for years that I would fail or be embarrassed when I tried something different. Yes, it was possible but these fears are normal when faced with important choices.
To be a risk-taker is difficult at first but the more you do it the more powerful you will feel. Yet risk - is just part of life: a new job, to move, to love and lose are all risks we take.
You need to reassess your perceptions and challenge yourself - What do you really want? What do you need? These questions are for the present and future as the past is forever locked in and not open to change.
The answer is to have "goals" for the changes you want to achieve. Don't worry as goals can change so you are not carving your future in marble. Take your time and think about the changes you want to make this year and what you need to do to move forward.
