Widows need to understand the value of confidence because without it they will depend too much on family and friends.  Widows who are ready to move forward should never settle for others making all the decisions for them.  Going for less erodes self-confidence and diminishes self-worth. Doing and being less than we are capable of creates guilt, guilt leads to worry and worry buries us in self-doubt.  The less capable a widow feels, the less she will do on her own and less activity means fewer steps forward.  As our activity declines, so does our attitude and our lives are soon spinning out of control. We can put ourselves in a better position by understanding the value of confidence and doing whatever is necessary to change our attitude.  Don’t let your attitude create inactivity, because regardless of the cause inactivity will steal any chance you have of healing your broken heart. Whenever our lives are turned upside down we have only to find something worth doing to change things for the better.  It may be something positive for yourself or something for others but the activity is what moves us forward. Every step we take, no matter how small, is another step towards a life of peace while increasing confidence in ourselves.  In most cases choice is a gift to ourselves and all too often we choose to do far less than what we are capable of. Confidence Tip:  Give of yourself.  Share freely with no strings attached, no secret agenda and no unspoken expectations from others.  The more you open yourself to the need of others, the more your confidence will grow.
