I understand how hard it is to speak positively about life when you are on your own. I don’t know why negatives are so much easier to fall into, but I do know that if you continually repeat negative statements, you will keep on creating negative experiences.
No person, place or thing has any power over you, unless you give it away. If you repeat positive affirmations wisely, you will get in touch with your own inner wisdom. As your mind conceives of more good, the barriers to happiness will fall away and the healing of your broken heart will begin.
Use positive affirmations, and over time a widow will accept herself exactly as she is – a beautiful person. Changing our thinking shifts us from grieving to healing. Let yourself grieve, it’s a necessary part of your healing, but when you are ready use affirmations to start thinking and speaking in new and positive ways.
Here are a few affirmations to get you started:
- I choose to look at my grief as something I am working through.
- I am a good person and I’m willing to change and be open to what life has to offer.
- I will not always know how my future will evolve, but I trust that I can handle it.
Please make your own affirmations and post them throughout your home so you can read them all day long. If something happens that you can’t control, then keep saying your positive affirmations over and over to yourself. Trust that you are creating your life by your choices and always strive to nourish your broken heart with positive statements.
Remember to also keep positive people close to you because you need their positve energy to feed your affirmations.
